SYS: Update #12

The newest patch for SYS has been completed and is now out, ready for download. Patrons can download this new content from here:
As hinted at in the last update, today's update brings a new playable character to the game! If you've paid attention to the Character Select screen then you probably already know who this is going to be. > : )
Without a doubt the character in my cast that I absolutely hate. xD Don't expect an easy going game when she is around as she wants to grab everything that is of high value and is ready to go to war if she doesn't get what she wants. As mentioned in her profile, her special ability will make her gain permanent attack boosts if she collects enough Zentra which is something you should absolutely try to prevent. Normally you can only increase those in a Dojo for a high cost of Zentra and seeing that she already has an Attack value of 1, if she gets just 2 boosts she will be the character with the best Attack Stat in the game as of the time of this update!
Because she's such a toxic character you will never gain any friendship points with her naturally over time and she will from the very get go demand that you pay double the prices for her goods because she doesn't like people, kinda similar to Leonora. However, unlike with Leonora who will never, ever be friends with anyone, you can actually befriend Da Tanga if you're willing to buy lots of her goods and thus shoving up lots of money up her butt, or by building estates that increase property values around them and thus also increase Da Tanga's net worth.
Here a more indepth look at her special abilities and why they make this character so flexible:
- Da Tanga can prostitute herself and gain even more money if she builds stuffs like brothels or gentlemen clubs, thus it's easy for her to make money.
- If she goes the Zentra route, she will gain additional attack power.
- More attack power means better chances at winning fights.
- Since characters who prostitute themselves sometimes get ambushed by cheap asses and are forced to a fight, having a high attack power basically means very easy wins.
Her perhaps biggest weakness is her relatively low HP for a fighter (only 6), so she will need either lots of items to heal herself or build a hospital to be revived quicker, since she'll be getting into lots of fights. Also, when the AI plays her, she's an absolute crapshoot at handling money and will spend it very unwisely. Also worth mentioning: I've made her ability very easily moddable for custom characters so that you can adjust the amount of Zentra they need for an upgrade and they can even get their other stats buffed too if you desire!
Coming up next, we have 2 new event cards! First up:
Easy and simple: A thousand bucks on hand for everyone. Remember to stash it at your home safe or others could rob you if they fight you on the open streets! Might be a lifesafer for those who are about to go bankrupt.
The next one is a real interesting one though:
This goes without saying but this card will absolutely change the whole playing field! It might perhaps be the most powerful event in the whole game if certain conditions are met. Unless you're Nexa I hope you have a lot of food items in your inventory when this card strikes!

- Added "Da Tanga" as new playable character.
- Added the ability for custom characters to gain permantent stat bonuses in Attack, Defense and Evasion when a certain amount of Zentra have been reached.
- Added "Money for Everyone" to the Event Card pool.
- Added "Turned Tables" to the Event Card pool.
- Added Help Text as to how to remove a card from the inventory when the "House Cleaning" Event is in effect.
- Fixed a bug in which the "House Cleaning" Event Card wouldn't fully remove a card in a Player's Inventory.
- Fixed a bug in which a double KO during Fight Nights would result in both fighters winning.
- Fixed a bug which would cause some generated AP Points to not be counted in the after game stats sometimes.
- Changed AP Checkpoints to give only +1 AP instead of the amount set in the Options for Home AP.
- Changed the Prostitution Bonus Money mechanic, it now also gets multiplied by the amount of Adult Themed estates in the city.
- Implemented a failsafe when a Character ever gets off the playing field, they'll be moved back to the tile they started their move on.
