So, before we get into some of the new content this update includes, I'd like to take a minute to say that I am currently making plans for an expansion for SYS. I've got some work done behind the scenes but I got nothing to show just yet. The expansion will include a new game mechanic which will allow you to use a new method to make big amounts of money relatively easy, but you can also lose a lot so this will be a high risk, high reward way of making cash in the game. Every player can make use of this mechanic regardless of what character they're playing as.

I can't give a release date yet, but what I do can say is that before this expansion will be released, a new public version of SYS will be out first which will include everything the last updates have added to the game in the last couple of months.

So with that being said, let's continue with the update!

This event will place this cookie card into your inventory. While in theory it is a good card that can help you out, it has this small little problem that you'll actually don't know what you will be getting from it before you use it, which can make some situations pretty interesting. Hold your breath and hope for the best when you eat this cookie!

As often with Event Cards, this one here can be a double edged sword. If your opponents have a lot of stat buffs but you don't then this will help you out quite much. However, it's quite bad if you just spent a boatload of cash on a Beronia Ambra Wine, just to have its marvelous stat buffs removed.

Next up, a new 2 Player Map.

I can't believe that this is only the second 2 Player Map in the game. :O
Anyway, I've been told that the Vaporwave Map, called "Nostalgia Boulevard" has a nice theme and different maps with it would be appreciated, so I whipped up this map here. :) You might want to use some running shoes when you come near the south-east part of the map as there are a few mean tiles there.

A new 5 Player Map! This one takes place on a tropical vacation spot and thus has a lot of shops which you can visit to eat and get stat buffs! Also, since this is already a vacation location there are no Vacation Tiles to be found here! So if you hate it when your character flies off to his vacation and skips some valuable turns then be sure to give this map a try!

• Added "Wonder Cookie" to the random event cards pool and as a useable card.
• Added "Double Waves" as a 2 Player Map.
• Added "Cloud of Sea" as a 5 Player Map.
• Added additional random taunts for all characters.
• Increased the amount of cash academies make on each turn.
• Fixed a bug in which when you paused the game, tabbed out and tabbed back in, the game would continue and the pause screen couldn't be closed.
